A small tributary makes its way towards the Hoh River on its journey to the Pacific Ocean. Hoh Rainforest, Olympic National Park, Washington.
The Hoh Rainforest is a place that makes you feel its weight, a relative weight of moisture, moss, and the ever present mist. There’s a special quality to the light comprised of this weight, a certain sort of glow that I’ve never seen anywhere else. A sensation that secrets could be revealed if only I had the time, were I like the rocks, the trees, or the moss, more able to bear the wait.
