- Every time that wheel turns round
It took me three attempts to get the shot I wanted of Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde, Maine. On my first trip I severely misjudged high tide and couldn’t get to the vantage point I wanted, I got some decent shots of the galactic core that night but not the shot I wanted of the lighthouse itself. The second trip came to an unfortunate end resulting in a dead raccoon and completely broken radiator, leaving me stranded on the side of the road in the middle of the night. The third times the charm as they say, and on my final trip I was able to capture the image I wanted of this beautiful lighthouse and the Milky Way.
