Project 366: Day 265
- Why some folks shouldn't be allowed in the woods
So there's this spot near my house that I like to shoot at along the Saco River, I don't tend to hit it very often during the summer because it's a popular swimming hole and tends to be crowded and also gets a little trashed.
At the end of the summer I'll stop by and assess the damage, and clean up as much of the trash left behind as I can so I can shoot there again without hours of cloning out cigarette butts and bottle caps.
The damage I found this year is beyond my comprehension and ability to rectify. Two tree stumps that were apparently used as fire pits, and a very large letter J carved into two adjacent pine tree's.
The only thing I can think of more asinine than carving your first initial into a tree like this is also doing it on the tree next to the first one you decided to deface.
