Hopewell lake in French Creek State park is largely where my fascination with capturing and depicting the landscape around me started. During my high school years in Pennsylvania I spent an inordinate amount of time photographing, drawing and painting scenes around this lake, often when I was supposed to be in school. So anytime I get back to PA to visit family I just can’t help but try to get a sunrise/sunset session or two in, this morning was no exception.
