-Splintered sunlight
I don’t want to alarm anyone, but this strange glowing orb was visible in the sky in southern Maine for the better part of today. Although it seems vaguely familiar I cannot quite place where or when I would have seen it before. Its warmth felt great on my skin and it would appear that it means us no harm, so I have left it an offering of dried nuts and fruit in the hope that it will stick around for a while.
