Galactic Beacon
One of the things I enjoy most about astrophotography is the solitude and peace to be found out under the stars alone in the dark. With the din of our human world wrapped in slumber it’s a time when the complexities and concerns of daily life melt away leaving my mind free to wander on the wings of the song the darkness sings. It’s a space where I can forget all the angst and turmoil that plagues humanity and lose myself, if only briefly. A place where I feel less human and more like some strange life form peering out into a universe of infinite possibilities. Just a tiny speck of life clinging to a small rock as it floats through space at the edge of a galaxy.
